The Blue Jackets could soon be making some major moves.
The NHL is reportedly considering selling its 2018-2019 home ice schedules for $5 million, according to Darren Dreger of the Columbus Dispatch.
The Jackets and Anaheim were not immediately available for comment.
The Blue Jackets have played in both Anaheim’s Honda Center and Nationwide Arena since the 2017-2018 season.
The team will move to Nationwide Arena for the 2019-2020 season, as it looks to rebrand its home arena.
The Columbus Dispatch reported that the club was also considering buying the Anaheim Ducks in 2018.
The Anaheim Ducks were not immediate available for comments.
The Orange County Register reported in August that the team would consider a move to Anaheim if the NHL were to sell its home schedule.
